]]> Join other Ģtv University families for crafts, games, and family fun inside the Commons and outdoors at the sand volleyball court! There will also be a meet-and-greet at the President’s House and lunch in the Commons. Each family will receive two complimentary lunch tickets. Tickets may be picked up at the Welcome Desk in the Commons starting at 11 a.m.

SCHEDULE

9:30a – 10:30a — Breakfast at the President’s house

11a – 4:30p — Family activities & events

2p — Men’s soccer game

4:30p — Women’s soccer game

OPEN HOURS

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Whether you love to write, sing, act, create art, or play an instrument, the Fine Arts College Experience (FACE) at Ģtv University is the perfect opportunity to explore your passion while experiencing college life firsthand.
During FACE, you’ll:

  • Work 1:1 with faculty from your area of interest
  • Attend classes alongside current Ģtv students
  • Watch rehearsals and performances
  • Spend the night in a residence hall
  • Experience authentic college life on campus

Join us for an immersive weekend designed to help you grow as an artist, performer, and future college student.

WHO AND WHEN

FACE is open to high school juniors and seniors interested in learning more about the fine arts programs at Ģtv University. This event takes place on Sept. 17-18, 2026 and Jan. 14-15, 2027 at the Demorest campus. Housing and meals are included. Parents dropping off students are welcome to stay for a separate dinner and tour of campus on Thursday.

WHAT TO BRING

Art — Art portfolio

Creative Writing  — Writing sample

Music — Prepared music solo

Musical theatre — Contemporary monologue and prepared music solo

Theatre — Prepared monologue or portfolio (for Technical Theatre)

ALL — Pillow, blanket, overnight bag

]]> Lux is a professional treble choir based in Northeast Georgia, dedicated to bringing beauty, hope, and connection through exceptional choral music. Composed of both professional musicians and singers from a variety of backgrounds, the ensemble is united by a shared passion for creating meaningful musical experiences. Their program, The Shape of Time, explores the ways time is shaped by memory, anticipation, cycles, and repetition. Directed by Ģtv University Alumna Emily Allison (BA ’03, MAT ’04) and Dr. Ashley Conway.

The Addams Family Musical, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
